Tumble Tumble little Star,
Can't accept what you are.
Falling slowly from up high,
Like a teardrop from my eye.
Tumble tumble little star,
Cannot change what you are.

When the shadow strikes my sleep,
Through my shields you pierce me deep.
Shooting softly through my mind,
Can't escape cruel thoughts you find.

So fall down now little star,
I can't wonder what you are,
Silent screaming from afar,
Reach me.
Like a diamond in my mind,
slashing through my fragile night.

Tumble Tumble little Star,
Can't accept what you are.
Falling slowly from up high,
Like a teardrop from my eye.
Tumble tumble little star,
Cannot change what you are.
Ok, so I love evanescence and was inspired into writing my own songs from my feelings. This is as yet unfinished.

I wanted to take a children's song and twist it, to show how as you grow up, your view of the world changes and it becomes a lot darker. This is going to be apart of a series of twisted nursery rhymes. Oh yeah and by the way, I have a tune for it (But unfortunately I can't sing!)

Please don't steal, if you want to use it ask permission first, thank you.

Oh wow, this is so beautiful, this is my favorite one of yours so far. I love how you used a children's nursery rhyme and kept that rhythm throughout the poem.
